Kamjong Development Committee (KDC) and Nisha Bandh, Kamjong (NBK) has claimed that the anti-nisha drive has been successful in the Kamjong area in the Indo-Myanmar border of Ukhrul district.
The Nisha Bandh, Kamjong chairperson Mrs S Mimi said that so far 1200 litres of country made brew had been destroyed in recent time.
The NBK and KDC have expressed appreciation to Col Rajunder Singh, commandant of 1st Assam Rifles, Major Vishal, Adjudant and Major Yogish Gulia for their copoperations in the anti-nisha drive activities.
