Imphal, September 05: As a part of continuation of Civic action programme based on the theme "For our Motherland", the volunteers of Ideal Club, Tera Keithel, Imphal has conducted one day social service camp in and around the Nupi Lal Memorial Complex yesterday.

The three day social service camp organised by Hiyangthang Kabui Club, Hiyangthang in connection with the observation of 109th birth anniversary of Patriot Hijam Irabat Singh has been concluded.

The closing function was presided by president of the club Kamei Joy today.

Eco campaign: National Cooperative Union of India, Cooperative Education Field Project, Bishnupur in association with GP Level Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd, Langthabal have distributed nearly 500 saplings of different species to Langthabal Kunja Mayai Leikai today under the supervision of Project Officer NCUI M Debendra Singh.

Junior Scientific Officer, EEW, Govt of Manipur Th Bhogen Singh has delivered speech on the theme 'Solid Waste Management and Green Earth'.
