KCP disciplines cadre with bullet on leg

Imphal, September 05: The Mobile Task Force of KCP under its Chief Commander N City Meetei has punished one of its cadres with a bullet on his left calf on the ground of having an illicit affair with a woman in whose house the former was taking shelter.

Before meting out the punishment, the accused identified as RK Amo s/o RK Angousana of Pisumthong Ningom Leirak was paraded before mediapersons somewhere in Thoubal district today.

Amo is said to be a commander of unit-I of the outfit under commander Kesho of Imphal West district.

The woman with whom Amo was having the clandestine affair is identified as one Surjalata d/o Loken of Nagamapal Kangjabi, but staying in a rented room at Palace Compound.

A spokesman of the outfit informed that after living together at the rented room from May 20 to 24, both of them went to Guwahati where they stayed at Ritz Hotel till May 27.
