Imphal, September 05: Holding the leadership of the KCP responsible for the mess of the outfit, the commander of the Mobile Task Force (MTF) of the outfit, City Meetei today said that the president and the general secretary are not fit to be leaders.

Reacting to the recent statement of KCP general secretary Noyon, City Meetei questioned when and where the Central Committee meeting was held.

If such a meeting was held then why weren't the senior members of the outfit intimated about it, asked further.

All these show that Noyon is not fit to be leader but is sticking on to his post for his own personal gain, said the statement.

The statement further questioned the president Leibakmacha why Dhananjoy of Tezpur and Jiten of Leitanpokpi were killed.

After the general secretary and the president patched up their differences for a short while, Robindro of Kyamgei was killed by Noyon at Serou Lamkhai, said the statement and added that it was after this killing the differences between the president and the general secretary emerged again.

Till date the general secretary is yet to clarify why Robindro was killed.

The president Leibakmacha received Rs 2 lakhs from Nando, accused in the killing of Elizabeth and he was full of praise for Nando at that time, said the statement.

The money was received at the height of the trouble following the kidnapping of Elizabeth.

Even a MTF with Nando as commander was formed by the president, said the statement and added that it was only after the death of Elizabeth that the president said that Nando does not belong to the KCP.

What has happened to Noyon who accused the president Leibakmacha alias KK Mangang and Nando alias MK Mangang of being involved in the murder of Elizabeth, asked the statement.

The so called KCP (P) is a creation of Leibakmacha and Nando, said the statement and added that they were involved in the killing of Sawn Ghimire of Moreh.

If Ghimire was really an Army informer, why wasn't he produced before the media, countered City Meitei.

The MTF has also asked all not to entertain any monetary demands served by the general secretary and the president and to inform the MTF is any demand is served on them.

KCP (P) lays down agenda: Going on the offensive against Noyon and Leibakmacha, the KCP (P) today said that they are anti-social elements who want to the don the mantle of leadership without any quality to lead the people.

In a statement, KCP (P) said that they are a party which is firmly wedded to the idea of the culture of the land and this is precisely the reason why they have turned their attention to Manipur digital films.

However the likes of Noyon will go to any extent to derail the good works being taken up, said the statement.

It is because of so called leaders like Noyon and Leibakmacha that the image of the KCP has taken a beating, said the statement and added that there is no point of issuing threatening statements through the media.

If these elements want to challenge the KCP (P) then let them do so, said the outfit and added that they are ready for any show down.
