Imphal, March 31, 2010:
To be chaired by Union Joint Secretary (Home) and attended by officials of the two neighbouring countries, the Indo-Myanmar Sectoral Level meeting is scheduled to be held from April 5 to 8 at Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to a reliable source, SP of Chandel and Border Liaison Officer K Radhashyam and an official of the State Home Department would be participating in the meeting and the issue related to arrest of four villagers of Skipe in Ukhrul district by Myanmarese police is likely to be taken up for discussion.
Though the Myanmar authority has given assurance on releasing them, all four of are still being held captives, the source added.
