Imphal, December 08: The All Manipur Petroleum Tankers Drivers' Union has strongly condemned the brutal murder of van driver, Vilhoukho alias Akhole Phira (22) of Kikwana village, Nagaland on December 4 at Saiton Khunou by unidentified gunmen, said a statement issued by the Union.

The Union also urged the Government of Manipur to bring to justice the culprits involved in the killing.

Meanwhile, the Poumai Masou Me (PMM) and Mao Union Imphal, in a joint statement has condemned the killing of Akhole while urging the State to book the culprits and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family.
