Imphal, December 08: Terming it as inhuman and unjustifiable, the Lamkang Students' Union (LSU) has strongly condemned the killing of Th Rengshong Lamkang (35) yesterday in the jungle area of Govajang village under Moreh Police station.

In a statement made available to the press today, the students� body asserted that Rengshong was a married man with two daughters and flayed the van driver identified as Phira.

ZSUM appeals: The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Manipur (ZSUM) has appealed to the authority concerned specially the Directorate of Transport & the State police to check the unauthorized buses operating on Imphal Tamenglong route, said a press release issued by the Union.
