Moreh, January 11: A 25-year old youth was shot by unidentified person in front of the office of Hill Tribal Council here at around 5.45 pm today.

The youth identified as Sosol Kuki (25) s/o Holkhothang of Moreh Ward no-1 has been referred to RIMS Hospital at Imphal after first aid at the Community Health Centre, Moreh.

He suffered bullet injuries on his right palm, left side of the stomach and left side of the lower buttock.

Although the witnesses could not identify the assailants, Sosol claimed they were members of UNLF.
