Imphal, November 10: The Senapati District Students� Association (SDSA) and Mao Students Unions have strongly condemned the killing of former DGP Nagaland Hesso Mao, at his residence by some unidentified armed miscreants on the November 8.In a separate press statements the Senapati District Students' Association while terming the killing of Hesso Mao as a barbaric act and sinisterly designed has called for a thorough probe into the incident and the culprits be brought to book at the earliest.

It added that the killer of Hesso has not only done injustice to the departed soul, family members and the Nagas as a whole but has also caused an irrepairable loss of a good officer and leader of the society.

While calling upon the Naga nation to condemn and boycott the killer, the students� body also urged the concern authority to bring the culprits to book to let the law of the land prevail.

The student body also shares the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family during their deepest moment.

In another statement Mao Students' Union president K Pukheni said that the killing is a threat to the Mao community in particular and to all peace loving citizens in general.

It urged appeals all the right thinking citizens to rise against such heinous crimes against humanity adding that the Mao community will not be intimidated with such an act of cowardice.

The Mao people will take every responsibility to ensure that the culprits are booked and let justice prevail.
