Imphal, November 10: At least a woman passenger has been killed and 20 others sustained injuries of varying degree when the bus they were travelling on met an accident at Dehingia, located about 3 kilometres from Shantipur police outpost in Assam.

The accident occurred today morning when the tourist bus (Royal Rajdhani MN-01/0932) was heading towards Guwahati from Imphal.

In the collision with a truck heading from the opposite direction drivers of both the vehicles are reported to be hurt, said Assam police source.

While the critically injured have been rushed to Guwahati other wounded passengers are informed to be undergoing treat at nearby medical centres.
