Army chief inaugurates seminar

Aizawl, December 20: General JJ Singh, Chief of Army Staff, inaugurated the first ever Network Centric Warfare Seminar in New Delhi today.

The two-day seminar is being organized jointly by Centre for Land Warfare Studies, Naval Maritime Foundation and Centre for Air Power Studies.

Gen Singh complimented the three institutions for their far sightedness and selfless approach towards enhancing strategic thinking in the Services.

Speaking on the occasion, the army chief said the application of Information Technology in all walks of life, especially to military systems and equipment has largely contributed to what is called the Revolution in Military Affairs.
