The ongoing Jadonnang Football Tournament at THAU ground has been postponed indefinitely.
According to Zeliangrong Football Association president Kadimna Gangmei, the tournament had been postponed for indefinite period following the violence broke out between Kaikhu team and Sawombung.
He stated that an emergency meeting would be held tomorrow at Zeliangrong Union office at Paona Bazar/Kakhulong in this regard in which two representatives each from both the conflicting teams had been asked to attend the meeting.
He said that when the matter is resolved the ZFA would announce through newspapers regarding the date on which the tournament would resume again.
The Association expressed its regret on the development.
