UNLF clarifies: The UNLF has clarified that it has no involvement in the killing of Yumlembam Geetchandra on Nov 25 at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai. In a statement issued by its senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba, it observed that the identification by the killers as cadres of UNLF while hijacking the motor cycle involved in the murder has been a clear indication that the perpetrators belong to a gang of professional killers.
Such defamatory and discreditable incidents befits the attitude of gangs instituted by the enemy engaged in perpetual subjugation of self determination movement, it added.
It further mentioned that UNLF has been always in the look out to root out such evil elements in collaboration with the people and added that it would go on with its campaign against all anti people activities.
