Abducted Nepali youths remain untraceable

At least seven youths, who have been abducted by suspected Kuki militants from Shantabari and Gopibung area under Kangpokpi Police Station, are reportedly still untraceable.
According to sources, the seven youths among others who have been abducted by the militants from the highway and their homes between May 7 and May 10.Out of the seven youths, one identified as Manao Tamang (18), s/o Narayan Tamang is said to be from Gopibung while the other six are from Shantabari.
They are Ningma Sherpa (17) s/o Deepak Sherpa; Rajkumar Limbu (18) s/o Surajkumar Limbu, Lakpa Sherpa (18) s/o Sasong Sherpa, Tenzing Sherpa (17) s/o Phuphu Tsering, Sanjoy Limbu (18) s/o Ram Bahadur and Shannu Limbu (17) s/o Laxman Limbu.
Owing to this abduction, the youths of Gopibung and Shantabari are afraid of going out even to schools.
