Quit Notice to Meiteis: Thangso peeved at inactiveness of district administration

MP of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Thangso Baite has expressed disapproval over the failure of district administration of Churachandpur to apprehend the perpetrators involved in recent "Quit Notice" served to Meiteis residing in the district.
Talking to some media persons at his Lamphel quarters today, MP Thangso Baite alleged that the District Administration of Churachandpur has failed in its functioning to solve this sensitive issue.
The perpetrators are still let free to spread communal tension and hatred among the peaceful and harmonious communities, he decried.
Thangso further questioned the effectiveness of Police Intelligence which has failed to gather vital information about the perpetrators, and urged the police officials to hunt down the culprits who are responsible for serving the "Quit Notice" .
He also appealed to all people to refrain from spreading rumours and maintain peace and harmony among different communities in the State.
