THE UNION Drugs Controller General has banned advertising that claimed successful treatment of 54 different illnesses, diseases, disorder or conditions by some section of the people in the Manipur, a DIPR release quoting the order of the controller intimated through the state health department said.
The banned on advertisement has been imposed under the Drug and Medic Remedies Objectionable Advertisement Act 1958, the release added.
The ban that imposed on claim successfully treated included appendicitis, arteriosclerosis, blindness, blood poisoning, blood deceases, cancer, cataract, deafness, diabetes, decease and disorder brain, decease and disorder optical system, decease related with uterus, menstrual flow, nerve system, portrait gland, dropsy, women deceases, fever, deceases of the breast, gallbladders, stone case, kidney stone, bladder stone, goiter, deceases of heart, blood pressure, paralysis, leprosy, obesities, pneumonia, sexual impotencies, ulcer, TB, tumor etc., the release added.
