High level probe into properties of CM, kin needed � Chadrasekhar Rao

Considering the typical behaviours of the personnel of Manipur Rifles, Indian Reserve Battalion and police commandos, the recruitment of the state security personnel should be held in a fair and proper manner after enquiry into their backgrounds, North East Zonal Organisation Secretary of BJP, P Chandrasekhar Rao has said.
Talking to media persons at the office of BJP Manipur Pradesh at Nityaipat Chuthek here, the BJP functionary said, the parliamentary team of the party has gone back to Delhi yesterday.
On arriving in Delhi, they will meet the media persons and highlight the burning problems of Manipur and try to make them national issues.
The party's spokesperson Prakash Javedkar had said this before they left Imphal, Rao said.
The parliamentary team had met the opposition parties of Manipur and discussed various issues.
The team had also invited the opposition parties to come to Delhi on 26-27 of this month.
The BJP will organise a sit-in-protest on these days at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
The team will meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohon Singh and Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to apprise them of the situation in Manipur as they had seen with their own eyes, Chandrasekhar Rao said and adding that the party's national leaders will fully support the sit-in-protest.
The party will apprise the Centre of the extortions, killing of civilians in fake encounters and corruption that has enveloped the government and so on, he said.
Chandrasekhar Rao further said that a high level enquiry into the properties of the Chief Minister and his kin needs to be carried out.
He also said that the BJP supports the movement of the Apunba Lup, the opposition parties and the people.
The leaders of BJP Manipur Pradesh today held a meeting and discussed the prevailing situation in the state.
Workers and leaders of the party are ready to launch various agitations including sit-in-protest in support of the movement, the North East Zonal Organisation Secretary, P Chandrasekhar Rao told mediapersons.
