Flatly rejecting the allegation of abduction of one Bijeta of Nambol Kongkham by Chirom Tiken of Nambol Wahengkhuman, Chirom Gita (29) w/o Tiken claimed that Bijeta had affair with her husband since December 2006.When she came know about her husband extra marital affair, Bijeta was informed that Tiken was a married man with four children.
The same information was also conveyed to Suchitra, Bijeta's elder sister.
Speaking to reporters today, Gita said that she communicated with Bijeta for the last time in January this year.
On May 25, Bijeta eloped with her husband.
Subsequently the matter was discussed between the two parties including Bijeta's father Jugeshwar amiably.
Clarifying on the absence of her husband from home, Gita disclosed that Tiken took Rs 3.5 lakhs from one Dilip of Haoreibi.
However, as the appointment could not be made and Tiken was unable to refund the amount he took from Dilip, the latter informed KYKL about the matter.
Consequently some alleged KYKL cadres came to their home asking for Tiken on February 18 this year.
Since then, her husband has been absconding, Gita disclosed.
It is said that Dilip is the younger brother of KYKL's Publicity Secretary Langamba.
On the other hand, Proprietor of Hotel Bheigo M Thoiba has clarified that Tiken did not check in the hotel on May 28.He also showed the register of the hotel to reporters.
