Imphal, March 19: CCT, Thongju defeated Onita Ocean by six wickets to wrest the title of the 2nd Atom Sarjit memorial cricket tournament organised by Rising Sun club, Thonju Waikhom Khongnang.

In the final today, Onita's innings folded up for 87 runs in 10.4 balls in the 20 over game as CCT overhauled the target in the eighth over losing four wickets.

MLA Bijoy Koijam and pradhan of Thongju gram panchayat Ch Thajamanbi Devi graced the final match as chief guest and president respectively.

Besides cash amount and trophy donated by Sarjit's family CO of 22 Maratha Light Infantry also chipped in with Rs 1100 for presentation to the champion team.
