Imphal, March 19: While appreciating the concern and efforts for the people of Sadar Hills and Tamenglong district shown by Chief Minister O Ibobi by his initiative to develop IT Road, the IT Road Development Committee has expressed strong reservation against interference by Education Minister Francis Ngajokpa in the road development work.

In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, the Committee cautioned that Ngajokpa's interference in the road development work may damage the credibility of SPF Government as all the tribal student bodies are now united and prepared to campaign against any minister/MLA or any government trying to go against the interest of tribal students.Disclosing that a team of tribal students' bodies have visited the work site on IT road to inspect work progress, it informed that all underground organisations operating along the road have been asked not to create any impediments to the road renovation work.
