Imphal, March 23: Rural Development and panchayati Raj Department scripted a narrow six run victory over Electricity Department in the second match of the 17th Civil services Cricket championship at THAU ground, Thangmeiband today.

Electing to bat first, RD&PR batsmen crawled to 135 runs in the 30 over game.

The Electricity run chase plunged headon into the brilliant bowling of S robindro of RD&PR who snarled up three vital wickets to wreck the rival team's top order batsmen before all the former's batsmen were skittled out for 129 runs with a ball remaining.

Robindro, who also chipped in to the team total with 14 runs, was declared man of the match.
