Imphal, September 16: A joint meeting of the local Meira Paibis and club volunteers held at the premises of Youth Development Organisation, Thangmeiband Thingel Maru, Imphal today has decided to banish Keisham Tijendra Singh s/o K Churachand Singh, who was involved in the September 14 night incident of looting to expel from Thangmeiband area.

The meeting presided over by Laimayum Tampakleima Devi took the cases of looting by masked men very seriously and resolved to exert pressure on the State Government for dealing with the matter with a firm hand besides giving stern punishment to the arrested persons.

The meeting also warned the family members of Tijendra against trying to bail him out of the police custody.
