With the size of the State annual plan for the fiscal year 2006-07 being finalised during a meeting between Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chairman of Union Planning Commission Montek Singh Alluwalia, a meeting was held today to discuss sectoral allocation of the plan amount.
A final decision on the proposed sectoral allocation, however, is likely to be taken by the State Cabinet tomorrow.
After the plan size of the State for the financial year 2006-07 was fixed at Rs 1160 crores, a meeting of the working group was held at New Delhi where sectoral allocation of the plan amount was discussed in detail.
Today's meeting held in the office chamber of Principal Secretary (Planning) AS Luikham with the officer in the chair was attended by top officials of all the Departments.
A final decision on the sectoral allocation is likely to be taken by the State Cabinet in its sitting tomorrow.
