Imphal, February 06:
A non-Manipuri who allegedly misbehaved with a young woman was lynched to death by an enraged mob at Mao in Senapati district at around 9 pm yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Bimol Adhikari (45) s/o Nawa Adhikari of Tin Hatta of West Bengal.
Bimol had reportedly come along with a team of the Bramhaputra Mela being held at Mao since January 12.
