AS A part of the series of photo exhibition against human atrocities, Threatened Indigenous Peoples Society (TIPS) in association with All Andro Youth Club has opened a photo exhibition at the community hall, Andro Market today.
The photo exhibition was themed on "Mamigi Khonjel" the voice of shadows.
A girl is said to have fallen unconscious during the photo exhibition seeing the photographs depicting the brutal atrocities against human beings and violation of human rights by human.
The photo exhibition will be concluded on January 11 with a convention on "Right to Life".
The former MLA of Andro, Salam Chandra graced the opening function of the photo exhibition as chief guest.
Chief of Andro villge, Ashem Deva, President of All Andro Meira Paibi Association, Chingakham Manglembi, President of All Andro youth Clubs Association, Ashem Rajen and President of TIPS, Advocate Aslam Khan took part as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary of TIPS, Ashemcha Tondon said that the main objective of the photo exhibition is to attain mass realization against all atrocities against the indigenous people of the land.
Chief Guest of the function Salam Chandra said that it is most unfortunate that there is no stopping to killings in the state and also the court is not able to impart justice to the victims.
