Imphal, February 28: The Assam Rifles will conduct recruitment rallies for enrolment as General Duty (GD) and General Duty driver category for male youth hailing from Manipur from March 7 till 12 at Thoubal to fill up 175 vacancies; March 31 to April 5 at Shangshak for 100 vacancies; and from May 30 to June 5 2005 at Samsai for 100 vacancies.

The Assam Rifles authorities further said that selection of candidates for enrolment will be carried out by an independent board of officers and warned all aspirant candidates not to fall prey to any tout and agent who become active during such rallies.

The Assam Rifles are carrying out pre-recruitment training for candidates in their respecting units.

The aspirant candidates are informed to contact any AR unit/HQ for further clarification/assistance.
