Imphal, March 29: The People's Development Council, Tuibong Churachandpur has conveyed its sincere gratitude to Tribal Development and IFCD Minister T Phungzathang for his contribution in the development works undertaken in Churachandpur district.

In a press statement, the Council expressed appreciation of the Minister's sincerity and sacrifice for the people.

It further conveyed its gratitude to the chief engineer of Khuga Dam Project for the dedication to his work.

The Council appealed to the chief engineer to look after derelict and corrupt staff and workers of the project.

It however condemned the misuse of funds by contractors concerning the repairing work of the road from Singat to Churachandpur.
