MSF steps up K-oil drive

Imphal, March 29: Stepping up its drive against the nefarious activities of the Kerosene dealers and agents, Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) has seized 700 litres of Kerosene from an oil pump and distributed the same to the people of Khurai area today.

Following the complaint of denial of Kerosene quota to the agents of Khurai and Lamlai Kendra, volunteers of MSF conducted checking at Ksh Lukhoi KS-Oil agencies at Lamlai and found 700 litres of Kerosene concealed inside the station of the oil pump, a spokesman of the students' body said.

The Kerosene oil seized from the oil station was later distributed to the people at Khurai Chingangbam Leikai, Khurai Konsam Leikai and Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai at the rate of Rs 13 per litre, the spokesman informed.
