Dimapur, January 24 (NNN):
NSCN-IM leaders Th Muivah and Isak Chisi Swu will be leaving Dimapur on Jan 29 for New Delhi for the next round of peace talks.
Sources said that though NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chisi Swu would not come back, NSCN-IM general secretary Th Muivah is likely to return to Dimapur after the next round of talks in New Delhi.
However the source added that the whole thing will depend on how the talks progress in the next round.
As of now there is a plan that the Muivah will return to Dimapur, said the source.
If Muivah returns he will stay at Hebron till the end of February.
After the 4th Consultative Meeting the Naga people are now anxiously awaiting the outcome of the next round of peace talk in New Delhi.
Muivah during the two days Naga Consultative Meeting at camp Hebron had repeatedly said that the NSCN-IM would never let down the Naga people and that the outfit would work according to the wishes of the Naga public.
"We will not let you down and we value you more than anything else," Muivah had said to the Naga public leaders who attended the meeting.
The IM leadership also repeatedly replied to queries posed by the media that the NSCN-IM would not accept anything less than total sovereignty of the Nagas and that no solution within the Indian Constitution would be accepted.
Meanwhile, a number of Naga NGOs continue to seek appointments with collective leadership of the NSCN-IM.
