One AS Koshim (47) s/o AS Wangkhai of Saibol village, Chandel district has gone missing since June 12 when he left home for the bordering village of Mentha (Mangsha) in Myanmar to buy food items, insecticides etc, informed a press release issued by the Maring Uparup Assembly.
As Koshim failed to return home even after 3/4 days, some of his relatives and villagers went to Mentha town in search of him.
There the search party found his belongings in a house of the town.
On being enquired, the Myanmarese house owner said that Koshim came there on June 12 and then left the house telling them he would come back soon.
But Koshim never returned there, conveyed the assembly.
In connection with the case, the Maring Uparup Assembly has appealed to the responsible authority(s) to look into the matter and help trace the missing person.
