Imphal, February 21, 2010:
Survey for extension of the railway line from Tupul to Imphal which was schedule to complete today (February 21) has been extended till March 15 next, an official source said today.
The survey works for the extension of railway line from Tupul to Imphal via Kangchup Chiru, Nalokol upto Malom was started from January 30 by the officials of the Northern Frontier Railway and due to complete by today.
However, due non-completion of the survey work, authority has decided to extend the same further.
To inspect the survey work, chief engineer, Mohonlal of the Northern Frontier Railway arrived here in Imphal, the source said.
