After "Smile Trend Surgery" project was successfully taken up, the Shija Healthcare and Research Centre will start taking up anther project for the handicap people with a new institute called Shija Rehabilitation Institute for Handicap.
The project is to be taken up in the state in collaboration with the Swikar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicap, Hyderbad and in the said institute treatment of handicap children mostly with ear impair and blindness, speaking problem etc will be conducted.
Regarding the matter, founder member of the Swikar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicap, Hyderbad, Dr P Hanuman Rao said such centre which avail the facilities of treating handicap children have been opened in 32 places of the country.
For opening this new centre, he had also visited Dibugarh, Assam but due to lack of support of the people of the area, it has suspended.
He also informed that the centre is also providing facilities for the students who wanted to undergo diploma, Degree, PG and Ph D in different fields.
Founder of the Shija Healthcare and Research Centre, Kh Pallin, Dr RK Thouba of the hospital also attended the press briefing.
Pallin said that the project is the second one after the Smile Trend Surgery project implementing by the centre and for the said new institute, there has enough land.
