Computer gifted to student by 31 AR

Imphal, March 27 2011:
The troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) brought a smile to the faces of the students of Netaji Memorial High School with presentation of 07 computers alongwith peripheral equipment.
Project "Mission Roshni- lets brighten up the future", has been launched by the unit under Operation Sadbhavana to provide the needy people of Moreh with necessary infrastructural help which will uplift the standard of living and ensure a better future for the young ones.
A career counselling programme was organised for the students of Imphal College, Kwakeithel by 12 MARATHA LI of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South).
Officer from the Battalion guided the participants on types of entries, job profiles, selection procedures, payments and perks in the Indian Army.
The session was very interactive and the youth, forthcoming with questions, were keen to seek guidance.
The event was well received by a packed attendance of 125 inquisitive students and 10 staff members of the college who were present for the event.
They expressed the desire that more such events should be conducted with respect to all the professional spheres.
