Ibobi was unhappy when he witnessed little progress in some of the projects and instructed officials concerned to speed up the work so that the projects could be completed within the targeted periods.
He also said that government is considering paying out compensations to the owners of the land affected by the construction of High Court Complex at Sangakpham.
Observing lack of control of quality in the construction of the Inter-state Bus Terminus at Khuman Lampak and little progress in the work, CM asked concerned officials to take up necessary action against the contractors.
If need be, the work order given to them should be cancelled and handed over to other contractors, he told to the officers and minister concerned.
Works minister, K Ranjit accompanied the CM in the inspections.
