Thai delegation leaves Imphal for Guwahati

Imphal, March 27 2011:
Representatives of Thailand, India and Mynamar had a meeting on March 26 at Myanmar's border town Tamu and dwelt on various matters that include trade, cultural exchange, sports and others.
The representatives of the three nations agreed that ties among Thailand, India and Myanmar can be tremendously improve under trade and commerce activities.
through sports and cultural exchange programmes of these three nations.
The delegates then agreed that since the three countries have historical ties too, it will not be difficult to further improve the relations of the three nations.
The event was held as part of India's Look East Policy and Thailand's Look West Policy with Myanmar a meeting point, according to the delegates.
Yu San Lui led the Myanmar delegation and Thadrol Thongrang led the Thailand team.
OSD, government of Manipur Dhijamani represented India in the conference.
