Four UGs held

Imphal, March 27 2011:
Red Shield Division achieved another success in their anti-insurgency drive when they apprehended one active woman UG cadre of KCP (MC) and three hardcore UGs belonging to United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) in two different joint operations carried out by 43 Assam Rifles and Imphal West Commandos in the last two days.
The woman KCP (MC) (Lamyanba Khunou faction) activist, Ranjita Devi (37) w/o L Aka Singh was apprehended from Kanglatongbi Bazar area.
In other operation in village Kanfglatongbi today, an UTLA cadre identified as Lamgougin Singson (18) s/o Paolen Singson of Khonomphai Saikul was apprehended from Kanglatongbi.
He led the joint team of 43 Assam Rifles and Imphal West Commandos to the Defence Secretary of UTLA, Chungjalal Singson alias Aneo (30) s/o Ihunkholam Singson of Tuinom, Kethelmanbi and his body guard Thanglenmang Sithou (21) s/o Lutkho Sitihou of Kethelmanbi.
Two Chinese hand grenades and seven rounds of AK-47 were also recovered from the cadres.
