Imphal, December 16 2009:
Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister highlighting its demands.
The memorandum while appreciating State Government's move to develop education system by creating more employment avenues, SDSA demanded for maintaining transparency in the recruitment process.
SDSA asserted that it would not compromise with any form of malpractice and bias in the recruitment process.
Alleging that non-locals were granted a free hand in the recruitment process violating the MoU signed between the State Government and SDSA on June 8, 2006, the memorandum pressed the State Government and MNADC to urgently address to the said MoU.
SDSA would be compelled to take up agitation if these demands are not met, the memorandum cautioned.
