No vehicle also plied along the National Highway 53 .
At many places of the valley districts, general strike supporters burnt copies of the Merger Agreement.
In the border town Moreh, normally hectic border trade activities came to a grinding halt today as a result of the general strike called in connection with the observance of black day by MPLF, a conglomerate of armed groups.
