Imphal, March 29 2009:
A KYKL cadre who was sent to Tihar Jail after the state government detained him under the National Security Act (NSA) will be brought back to Imphal.
The authority has issued an order in this regard on March 26, an official source said today.
The KYKL cadre identified as Khangembam Raju @ King @ Rabi (31), son of Kh Iboyaima of Keishamthong Hodam Leirak will be brought back to his original place of detention (at the Central jail, Shajiwa) following an order of the Gauhati High Court issued on February 13 last.
The court directed the state government to release him from detention if he is not connected with any other case.
Sources said that police have made necessary arrangements to bring him back under police escort from Tihar Jail, New Delhi to Central Jail, Shajiwa.
It is pertinent to mention here that one leader of a group of PULF had also been brought back from Tihar jail following court directive.
But he has been re-arrested by the police in connection with another case.
