When police was approached on the plan they had suggested obtaining prior permission from the DC concern.
When, JAC members called on with the DC, he agreed to carry out the rally and asked them to collect the permission from the Imphal East SP.
But then they went to collect the permission, SP informed that police came to know from the media reports that the underground organisation, KCP (MC) is extending support to the people's objection.
