Ch Ronibala Devi finished on top in four events as student archers from manipur fetched seven gold, four silver and two bronze medals in the 51st National Schools Archery Championship held at Amravati of Maharashtra since January 19, informed a statement issued by Deputy Director of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Ronibala claimed the top honours in under-14 Indian round individual events over the distance of 20 and 30 metres as well as winning the overall crown, and teamed up with Th Bhanu, B Honey and RK Bhalia to clinch to Indian Round team event.
In under-14 boys' Indian round, W Anupam grabbed three gold medals in 20 mtrs, 30mtrs and the overall title.
Th Bhanu also bagged two silvers in the Indian Round individual, followed by similar number of silver haul by G Robert Sharma in the boys competition.
The latter also secured a bronze in the overall points tally.
