Imphal, January 20: A media/press awareness meet was held today at the Hamleikhong Army Conference Hall of Ukhrul district attended by mediapersons of Ukhrul district and Imphal, representatives of non governmental organisations and Government officials.

The meet organised by Ukhrul District Journalists Association (UDJA) was graced by DIO of Ukhrul, Angelius as chief guest.

Addressing the meet, Angelius spoke on journalism and relevant subjects.

While extolling the 15 member Association set up in 1999, he expressed his desire to conduct such meets more frequently.

However the main feature of the meet was an interaction session with editor of Newmai News Network, Witoubou Newmai as the moderator.
