Fencers of hosts Manipur continue to dominate proceedings in the 11th National Junior Fencing Championship underway at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium collecting five gold medals and four silvers on the second day today.
Manipur is leading the medal's tally as West Bengal secured second position with a silver followed by Punjab in third at five silvers, Karnataka four bronzes and.

Manipur made a clean sweep of the five gold medals on offer today besides grabbing four silvers with the finals in four individual categories featuring an all Manipur contests while four other State fencers also advanced to the finals in two other individual events besides a team event.
In individual girls sabre event final today, N Harina Devi defeated Th Tinku by 15 points to nine while Kamataka's N Lakshmi Devi and N Bindu Devi secured the third position.
State lass M Usharani defeated W Roji Devi 15-7 to win the individual girls foil event 'with the bronze going to Punjab duo Gurpreet and Lovjit Kaur.
The third yellow metal came in individual boys sabre section where Chingsomba Ningomba out-scored State-mate A Rupachandra Singh 15-10.Karnataka's Binod and Opelin of Assam shared the bronze.
