Imphal, February 17:
MPP president O Joy has written to the Assembly Secretary to inquire whether the no confidence notice submitted by the Opposition against the Speaker would feature in the Business Advisory Committee meeting scheduled to be held on February 20 at 3 pm.
Informing this to media persons, O Joy said he has asked the Assembly Secretary to furnish a copy of the tentative list of the meeting well before the meeting is held.
A copy of the letter submitted to the Assembly Secretary has also been submitted to the Governor.
The latest no confidence motion was submitted to the Assembly Secretary on February 13 close on the heels of the earlier motion being rejected by the Speaker.
