Imphal, October 02: Strongly decrying the alleged monetary demand served on the film fraternity by the KCP (P) to allow resumption of screening of digital films, the Film Forum Manipur today said that it had formed a Preview Committee to screen all films before they are released in the theatre and added that instead of making its stand known, the KCP (P) had demanded money instead of negotiating the issue.

In a statement, the Forum said the stand of the KCP (P) is clear and added that under the cloak of sanitising the film trend, they are out to make money.

To protest such a policy, all film related works and screening of films will be stopped for three days from tomorrow.
