Imphal, October 02: Admitting that the assault of a couple, Khwairakpam Bala and her husband Debendra and their neighbour Naoba by UNLF cadres was against the principle of the outfit, a spokesman of the UNLF today said that the erring cadres will be punished.

Informing this to newsmen somewhere at CCpur today, the spokesman said that it is against the UNLF's policies to shield any guilty cadre, especially when the crime is against women.
