Imphal, April 07: As observed all over the world, different organizations, clubs and social bodies of State observed the "World Health Day" by organizing functions in different parts of the State today.

This year's observation is held under the theme "Road safety is no accident".

Institute of Social Health Action and Development and Manipur Mahila Kalyan Samiti jointly observed the "World Health Day" at Children Home Dewlahland today.

As part of the observation, drawing competition, awareness campaign etc were also held for the inmates of the Children Home.

Indian Medical Association Manipur State Branch also observed the "World Health Day" at IMA House with Prof E Kuladhaja, Prof P Nishikanta and BK Sharma as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Driver Training and Research Centre Manipur observed the "World Health Day" at the DRTC Office Tera Bazar Thangapat Mapal Imphal today.
