Imphal, January 17:
Taking serious note of the Manipur University authorities failure to check mass copying in the ongoing III rd BA, BSc and B Com exams, DESAM has today accused the MU authorities of directly opposing DESAMs endeavour to stop unfair practices during exams.
In a statement, DESAM said that it has become very difficult to differentiate between a regular class and examination hall as most of the students have been found indulging in all sort of unfair practise during the exams.
Informing that most of the students at the various centre were found copying directly from text books during the inspection conducted today by DESAM volunteers, the statement said that DESAM volunteers seized the most of the text books and handed over to the principals of the respective centres.
