Expressing strong resentment on State Government allegedly holding back Rs 24 crores earmarked for development of roads, bridges, drains etc from Chandel to Pallel under the Additional Central Assistance programme the Naga Students� Union, Chandel has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister for necessary action without further delay.
setting a deadline of November 29 for release of the sanctioned fund and necessary official process to begin pending works, the Union threatened to launch indefinite public agitation in case of non compliance to its demand.
