Imphal, November 17:
The Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Employees Assn decried alleged negligence of the Corporation by State Govt saying that all development activities had come to a halt due to restriction of fund by the State.
The Assn asserted that staff salary of the Corporation had not been paid for 31 months.
Of the Rs 25 lakhs reflected in the 2004-05 State budget, only Rs 11,40,230 had been sanctioned, added a statement while demanding details on the balance amount.
It further remarked that former Finance Commissioner, RC Mishra in total disregard of State directives, denied any increment in the grant-in-aid and redirected to the account of Office Expenses ( OE) of Directorate of Tribals and SC.
